[ at this point, deto is pretty used to the commute to his boyfriend’s place. tokyo’s not too far from chiba. he’s dressed casually today, ankles peeking out again. he has that crossbody bag from their time at the beach, literally armed for knowledge what with several blank notebooks, some mechanical pencils, a sturdy eraser, and - a tissue packet

if there’s one thing about living in tokyo, it’s that everything’s within a convenient distance. it was easy to find an internet cafe close to yoshi’s apartment at least, and maybe it’s due to the area yoshi lives in, but this cafe is nicer than he expected. not run down at all. at the very least, it doesn’t scream ‘degenerates welcome inside’ and the guy checking them in had actually been very nearly attentive and polite. there are even vending machines in the lobby for meals

the private room they reserved is a proper room with four walls and a door, rather than just a partitioned cubicle. which is promising, deto thinks. but when he opens the door… the space is rather narrow, however, and clearly meant for one ]
