[ even as he races to catch up, he can appreciate yoshi’s expert driving. the threading helps to slow yoshi down some, and deto just hopes none of the green shells will bounce off the corners and ricochet back to him. no way that happens with his luck, right ]

The nice thing about them ricocheting is, once he's past them, they can't really catch up. He can make up for the speed he lost there!]
