he almost smiles with his entire face - before stiffening when he remembers yoshi’s older cousin is here. he has to, of course, murmur the usual phrases (‘pardon the intrusion,’ ‘nice seeing you again,’ ‘i’ll take good care of him’) because this is yoshi’s family and he wants to make a good impression even if mikado always leaves him feeling weird. oncet that’s done and he can focus on yoshi again, he relaxes ]
