[In Yoshi's room, there is a journal with the words STAFF - GIVE TO ANYONE written on the cover. The rest can be read by anyone who discovers it.]

I was going to use Mutter for all my notes, but I realized that if my brain activity drops to zero, my BitPhone won't activate anymore. So, I'm writing everything I know here, just in case.

I wanted to protect this world. I remember training with Red and Archer. Archer was really tough, and the training was really hard. Red was really kind, and she sang so beautifully! Archer said he wanted to work hard to make sure she was never so sad she didn't sing again. I wanted to do the same. Because she could understand when I told her about the numbers, like nobody else ever has.

They said something about "Thaumiel" but I still don't know what it means. Apprentice said he would tell us eventually...

There are some things I can't read because the numbers can't be converted. That just means there's a flaw in my formula. But there's some things where I don't see numbers at all.

One of those things is Szayel's safe, but he says it has nothing to do with this and we should leave it alone.

The other is a person.

[And, about halfway through the journal, there's... completely different notes.]

I always thought that one day, I'd be erased.

It wouldn't really matter. That's what I thought.

But there are people who care about me, I think.

If I've been erased, I'm sorry if I did something stupid.

I really did want to protect this world, but it looks like I wasn't strong enough.

I think there's a lot of things I just don't understand when it comes to friendship. I wanted to be a good friend, but I think I probably messed up all the way... But you stuck with me, even after a week.

Someone like me can't change that easily. But there's a lot of people who like you too, so you should keep being nice to them and let them be nice to you!
